Wemimo is a graduate of Banking and Finance who started her banking career in Oceanic Bank Plc as a treasury officer. She shortly moved on to Zenith bank Plc where she was in Treasury for most of her career but had a 1year stint in customer service unit as head of the unit. She subsequently joined Standard Chartered Bank Plc as a pioneer staff where she was both the Chief Dealer, Emerging Markets and the Chief FX Dealer. She wrapped up her banking career as the Head, Treasury Group, Kakawa Discount House Limited where she was responsible for both the Treasury department and Corporate / Institutional marketing.
She is armed with a B.sc Banking and Finance degree from the Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti, a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos and has attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) in the Lagos Business School (LBS).
She has also attended many courses, seminars and conferences on Management, Marketing, Financial Structuring and Human capital in Nigeria, United Kingdom, USA, South Africa, Zimbabwe and France.
